The not-so Superfriends

Good job, Aquaman. There are two times I can remember that Aquaman actually was useful. One episode opened with an establishing shot of the Aquacave (or Aqualab, I can't remember), and at one point, Aquaman gives orders to Batman. Since Batman doesn't kick him into the next century, I think that the whole episode is Aquaman's dream. Really. When the heck else did he have an Aqualab on this show? The other time he was useful was when he and Apache Chief were trapped in prehistoric times, thanks to Grodd's time conveyor. A-man's JLA communicator was powered with an atomic battery, and--well, it's a long story, but he manages to contact the Superfriends in the future and they rescue him anyway. In the "Universe of Evil" episode, the evil Aquaman had an eyepatch. Ooo, scary. Even an evil Aquaman is still a dork. In the later seasons, Aquaman was used less and less. In the final season, his only dialogue was "Almost!" He said this while trying to grab one of Darkseid's seeds of doom that was going to destroy the world. He missed, of course. Yep. One shot in the whole season, and he blows it. Aquaman. Sheesh.
