Episode Summary / Review - 5.06 Rite Of Passage (part 2)

They all head back to the infirmary where Cassie is near death. Nurti attempts to try and heal her with a Goa'uld healing device and other piece of technology. The first attempt fails but of the second try Cassie is healed and returned too normal. Jack then takes Nurti to the gate room where they let her go back through the gate, but not before informing Jack that without a sample of Cassie's blood she will have to start her experiment all over again.

Review:

This was an over all good episode in that we get to see and learn more about not only Cassandra but also Dr. Fraiser. You really got see the mother side of Janet and learn a bit more about her life and what make her tick. The story was pretty well done and it filled in the missing information about Nurti and why she killed the people of Cassandra's planet. A nicely done and well-rounded episode that is not to hard to recommend. I would say it is one of the better for Sg-1 episodes out there.
