With Sg-1’s ship being out gunned and disabled by the supernova blast, Apophis threatens to destroy them.

Just as Apophis is primed to fire a mysterious ships approaches and begins firing on Apophis’ ship giving Sg-1 a chance to escape and hide in the coronasphere of an blue giant star. This shields them from any sensors and gives them the much-needed time to make repairs to their ship.

With only being able to hide in the blue giant for a limited time due to radiation exposure, Sg-1 move the ship out of the giant to find the other mysterious ship gone and Apophis’ ship hanging in space with no life signs. O’Neill, Cater & Jacob board Apophis’ ship to investigate and hopefully find a part that is need for their ship’s hyperdrive.

While on board they find the ship mostly deserted and the bodies of Jaffa warriors all over the place. To add to the situation the self-destruction has been activated and Jacob is unable to shut it down. As Sam makes a dash for the engine room to recover the part their ship needs, they soon discover that the ship is infested with Replicators. Sam grabs the crystal they need and they all heads back to their ship and manages to get the engines back online and avoid being destroyed by the blast from Apophis’ exploding ship.

With their engines restored they begin to set a course back for Earth, but notice a small Goa’uld transport ship. They hail the ship and are surprised to hear the voice of Teal’c (who was believed killed) answers the hail. He tells them that Apophis using the sarcophagus revived him and that a few loyal Jaffa helped him escape. Sg-1 welcomes him on aboard not knowing that he has been brainwashed and brought Apophis with him. Teal’c along with Apophis quickly take control of the ship capturing a stunned Sg-1.
