Stargate Guide: Supporting Characters – Off World /Alien Part 2

Narim:
He is a member of the race called the highly advanced society called the Tollan. He was among the original surviving Tollan that Sg-1 helped rescue from their planet when it erupted with volcanic activity and was destroyed. He soon became attracted to Maj. Carter and the two shared some intimate moments. He was the more curious and friendlier of the Tollan when Sg-1 first encountered them. He was willing to share his knowledge about his people as well as learn about Earth.

He was forced to leave the S.G.C and Earth when the government wanted to get there hands on not only the Tollan’s advanced technology but also the Tollan themselves. The sharing of their technology with races less advanced their own is strictly forbidden and thus was the reason for their departure. The S.G.C managed to get Narim and the rest of the Tollan through the gate and to the planet of the Nox.

Narim has returned to the S.G.C in order to bring back SG-1 to help Skarra/Klorel who at the time was on trial on the new Tollan home world Tollana. While there Narim reviled to Maj. Carter that he still had feeling for her and she was missed.

Note: Maj. Carter gave her cat to Narim, as there are no long animal on his world and to show her affection towards him. The cat’s name is Schordinger’s Cat after the scientist.

Travell:
She is also a member of the Tollan race and is also there high minister. She was the one who governed over the proceedings in the trial of Skarra/Klorel. She is one of the main leaders of the Tollan people and was also instrumental in helping find a traitor at the S.G.C.

She is a soft spoken and wise individual who sees the S.G.C and Earth with respect and potential.

Gerywin:
She is from the world Cimmeria that is protected by Thor’s Hammer an Asgard device meant to protect the planet from all Goa’uld. She was one of the first people that SG-1 met when they first went to the planet and helped them when some of SG-1 got caught by the hammer device.

The world is reminiscent of ancient Norse beliefs and way of life, they practice and believe in the God Thor as well as many Norse beliefs and rituals. She is a warrior who took on the role of leader when the Goa’uld invaded her world and both her husband and brothers were killed. The people of Cimmeria live in the natural and are very much like the Norse were hundreds of years ago.
