Maj. General George Hammond :
Gen. Hammond is the leader of the S.G.C facility, who was given the command to help close down the stargate project and facility just before retirement. It was only after the Goa’uld Apophis breached the Earth’s stargate that the program was made active again.
He is a career military man with the ability to run and keep the S.G.C running through many alien and other crises that have occurred. He has three grandchildren and is a Georgia native. Dr. (Major) Janet Fraiser :
She is the head physician of the whole S.G.C facility and is responsible of the heath and medical situation that may arise. She is a very skilled doctor having to combat various human and non-human diseases and aliments that the S.G.C teams have encountered. She is married and has an adopted daughter named Cassandra , who is in fact a alien human child left orphaned when the population of here planet was killed by the Goa’uld Nurti.
General Jacob Carter :
He is the father of Sg-1 member Maj. Samantha Carter and good friend to S.G.C leader Gen. Hammond. Like Gen. Hammond , Gen. Carter is to a career military man having served in 2 wars. Besides Sam he has a son named Mark and several grandchildren. His wife was killed almost 20 years ago in a car accident , he has never re-married.
He was introduced into the gate project while he was in the hospital dying of cancer. He was given the opportunity to cure his cancer and help out the S.G.C. This lead to him being blended with the Tok’ra symbiot Selmak. Currently Gen. Carter lives and works off-world with the Tok’ra.
Colonel Harry Maybourne :
A member of the top secret and mysterious group the N.I.D. He is a constant pain to the S.G.C and has tried on several occasion to obtain Teal’c in-order to perform tests on him. Maybourne looks to the S.G.C for any and all alien technology that he can steal or use as a weapon. He was found to be the source behind a rouge S.G team who was stealing tech from alien races. It was also found out that he was a double agent for the Russians , giving them detailed information on every aspect of the S.G.C
Senator Kinsey :
The senator first arrived at the S.G.C just as the programmer was about 1 year old to deiced if the project was worth the price the government was paying. He is a hard nosed republican was a strong faith in God , and believing that the gate and all it’s intentions are evil and disaster waiting to happen.
