There are tons of Star Trek sites out there on the World Wide Web, but where do
you go for the franchise's news? This week I've compiled a listing of the best Trek
news and information sites that are available for a cyber-fan's surfing pleasure. Check 'em
out, bookmark 'em, and stay on top of all the happenings of the Star Trek universe.

"Trek Nation," http://www.treknation.com Lots of great articles on Star Trek. "Trek Today," http://www.trektoday.com/ A daily news site for all things Trek. Impressive. Part of the larger Trek Nation network of Star Trek news and information sites. "Warp 11- The CyberTrek Site," http://www.warp11.com/ Pretty basic news/reviews type stuff. Kept up-to-date. Reliable source of information. Also part of the Trek Nation network. "Trek Web," http://www.trekweb.com/ Up-to-date news headlines, reviews, and polls grace the start page. Beyond that there is a ton of stuff in this site on all four shows and the movies. There's reviews, a bookstore, a message board, chats, and plenty more. This is a great site that's been around for awhile and is consistent in its quality. "Fandom--Star Trek Central," http://www.fandom.com/Star_Trek/ This is a spectacular site; the Star Trek portion of the massive Fandom community. There's Trek news, reviews, articles, site reviews, links, game information, pictures, and a Trek store. There's also polls, top ten lists, a newsletter, and a community area that includes chats and a message board. "AAA Star Trek," http://www.eonmagazine.com/startrek/PAGE... There's more Star Trek information on this site than you can aim a phaser at. Hop on over to the main site to check out everything that's available. Very ambitious, but still looks to be in construction phase. Still plenty there already, including an excellent news archive. "Dateline: Starfleet, the newsletter for Star Trek fans," http://www.data1701d.com/ A very complete listing of all Trek-related news, including birthday announcements, actor activities, new product releases (with merchandise links), airdate and chat schedules. This is an e-mail newsletter. Subscription information is on site. All newsletters are archived and available on site, as well. "Optical Data Network," http://odn.main-net.com/ Another great e-mail newsletter with a ton of Trek related news briefs. Very well put together. Also archived and available on the web with subscription information on site.
