imprisonment. Something that was never clear was who, besides Kira, knew of Odo's action? Even more unclear is how Odo managed to emerge from the mess with no backlash against him from the anti-Dominion forces. You'd think if Sisko and Co. knew that Odo had turned on them, they'd be pretty ticked off about it. 7. What happened to all the other Prophets? Ever since the "Sarah" Prophet turned up, none of the others have been seen. Was "Sarah" perhaps so upset that they were all vastly more interesting than she that she stuffed them all into a shoebox and put them on a shelf somewhere? 8. Did Dr. Bashir tell Captain Sisko about Admiral Ross' involvement in the events of "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges?" Given the apparent unaffected friendship between Sisko and Ross post-"Inter Arma..." it's assumed Bashir didn't say anything regarding Ross' association with Section 31 or his manipulation and betrayal of Bashir. Perhaps the better question would be--why didn't Bashir tell Sisko about Ross? 9.Why were the events in "Rapture" and "The Begotten," specifically Sisko's visions and subsequent surgery and Odo's restoration by the dying baby changeling, not re-examined after it was revealed a Founder was impersonating Dr. Bashir on both occasions? Wouldn't Sisko have wondered if the consequences of his visions were really as dire as "Dr. Bashir" proclaimed? Or had the Founder mucked around with Sisko's brain unnecessary as a precaution against exposure should later visions reveal the fate of the real Dr. Bashir? And wouldn't Odo, someone who's suspicious of everyone and everything around him on a good day, find the timing of the sudden appearance of the baby changeling and its later death unsettling? Especially when a Founder was present when it made its appearance and then later helped oversee its care? But no one seemed remotely concerned that a Founder was playing doctor on them for five weeks. Yeesh! 10. Why, oh why, did the writers ruin the character of Gul Dukat? Okay so this isn't exactly a question that could be answered through storyline, but it's worth asking anyway. (And it makes for a nice plug for a future article I've got in the works that will take a look at the demolition of Dukat.) Why did the writers make the mystifying decision to destroy their most interesting and complex villain? This is perhaps the greatest unanswered DS9 question of them all.
