According to the “Harper’s Encyclopedia of Mystical and Paranormal Experience”,
“Clairvoyance means the perception of current object, events or people that may not be discerned through the normal ones.” There are several different types of foreseeable skills. For this discussion I will only focus on two types of it, precognition and premonition.
Precognition and premonition is the ability to look in to the future but that is where the similarities end. These visions are not one and the same as some of us would like to believe. In fact the two are not even related except for the fact that it can predict a probable future event. Premonition provides a sense of fore warning or as I like to refer to it as an early warning system. The feeling is not clearly defined because an individual will either get a very bad feeling either anxiety, unease or a gut level feeling. These feeling will occur when the person is awake. Normally it occurs before a negative event which could be anything life threatening such as death and disasters. Precognition is unlike premonition because it can be sensed and felt in either the Dream State or the Wake State. The information will appear in dreams, images impressions and feelings. When giving reading psychics use different tools to aid them in predicting a probable future such as the tarot cards, palmistry, astrology, and numerology. However, keep in mind that what the reader may see is based on current situations. The future events can be altered in the present by you or outside influences. It may delay the future event from occurring or it may not happen at all. Precognition and premonition can occur anywhere, anytime to anyone. Remember that the key element is to remember what your reaction is if it is an emotionally oriented event. The situation may occur between 24 to 48 hours after the clairvoyant experience When this happen try to remember the initial feelings prior to the experience. It will aid in deciphering the information for a future precognitive or premonition event. Go To Page: 1 2 |
