Contact with the other sideI am always aware that the message is coming from outside myself. I never "hear voices" nor confuse the messages with daydreams, wishful thinking, or fantasy. The exact message It's rare that I actually hear anything, and I don't often see anything specific, either. In some cases, I'll just know that a message is being sent to me, and that's all. In a recent case, it took weeks for me to grasp the message well enough to repeat it, and even then I consulted two other psychics because it made so little sense to me. I try not to make sense of messages, nor add what I think they're supposed to mean. Often, I get it wrong. In other words, my function is little more than the recording on your phone that collects your voicemail. Delivering the message It is never easy to deliver a message. Generally, I have to go up to total strangers and tel them things that make little sense to me. When I have to deliver a message to someone I know, it's usually something that I'd rather not say. About six months ago, I had to tell a male acquaintance a message that included something profoundly personal and evaluative. At the time, those were excruciatingly difficult words to say, and I made things worse by trying to make sense of the message. I delayed giving him this message--for obvious reasons--until every psychic around me was brow-beating me over my procrastination. They were picking up psychic static around me. So, blushing and stammering, I delivered it. Six months later, I understand what the message meant in its full context but I'm not certain that he's figured it out yet. That leads me to another point: I don't have much insight into the meaning of the messages. It's important to deliver the message exactly as it's given to me. If I editorialize, rephrase, or add or subtract from it, I make mistakes. If I don't get it right, the message often lingers in my thoughts until I do say what I'm supposed to. Also, how quickly and accurately I deliver the message directly affects the receipt of future messages. The sooner I correctly repeat the message to the person it's sent to, the clearer the next message I receive. But, at any point, I could refuse to deliver messages and I think they'd stop. However, I wouldn't want to live without the bonus of promptings intended for me, so
