I hope you can bring some of your ideas to the discussion board on this site and we can share and maybe help each other. There are new things happening in the law for children with disablities that effect they way they are going to be educated. There are sites and places to keep you informed on what's going on - how to navigate the special ed. maze - what your resposibilites and what your rights are. My list of links will be ever growing and expanding. I hope you will check back often. I also hope to include some site run by parents.
There are also places that are helping regular ed. teachers who are overwhelmed with the paper work and the need to find out about accomodations and accountability. Maybe we can share suggestions on what to do with that kid who WON'T stay seated or shut his mouth for 2 seconds no matter what you say or do. Hopefully we can share some insights as well as web sites that can offer some suggestions to help you cope with the hand you've been dealt. If you know a site that has helped you - or that you find particularly interesting - email me! I'd love to see it and possibly add it here! I look forward to sharing ideas in the future. Bats
