It's been awhile since I've been back here at the Suite. In the last few months, I've been at a turning point in my life and having to make some important decisions and a few changes. One of the decisions that has been weighing on my mind is whether to continue as a Contributing Editor here or not. This was a really difficult decision because I absolutely LOVE Suite101. I've "met" a lot of interesting people and been able to share a little bit of my passion for learning Spanish with others. However, I was a little discouraged because of the tiny amounts of feedback that I have received. The stats show a large number of people subscribe to the Spanish topic, but I have no way of knowing if those numbers are return visitors, people who never look at what I'm writing, or people who are actually interested in this subject. The discussions that I (and others) have posted lay dormant for long periods of time. The events of September put me further behind in making this decision. I was so depressed, shocked, and angered about the atrocious attack on our country that I didn't even feel like checking my e-mail for weeks at a time. I've been kicking around the possibilities and have come to a decision... I will continue writing at Suite101 because I love it. I know I'm behind, but I hope to catch up before the new year. I received new inspiration in the form of a new discussion topic (Thank YOU!!!!) and a couple of personal e-mails from readers. I hope that this topic continues to be of interest and PLEASE don't hesitate to snap out a quick note to let me know what you would like to see here. I love getting your e-mails (I try to answer them as soon as possible, though that may sometimes be a few days) and until the last month or so, I check in on discussions regularly. I know this may not count as a "article", but I feel that I do need to communicate with everyone who reads this topic. Obviously, this is the most efficient manner. Keep your eyes open for an article on the Day of the Dead coming in the next couple of days! Go To Page: 1
