Heighten your Sensitivity© Cheryl D. Tracy
When you journey you need to learn to use as many of your senses as you can. The reason for this is that, during journeys, the energy levels look, feel, and taste a little differently than they do in Ordinary reality. The difference is a little like this. When you go swimming and you are standing up to your neck in the water, the sensations you feel from your neck down are a lot different than what you sense above the water. And if you go under water completely, the way things look and feel and sound are quite different from what you ordinarily experience on dry land. It takes a bit of getting used to before you can process information accurately. The same is true for journeys.
The following exercises are geared toward helping you wake up your sensitivity to energy and vibrations, as well as to awaken your intuition. Give them a try.
1. Take a few minutes and try to remember times through out your life where your intuition was trying to tell you something either through dreams, gut feelings, or just vague ideas. List any you can recall and whether you paid attention or not and the result. 1. During this entire week pay attention to any dreams, body sensations, synchronistic events, and odd feelings that you have. See if there is a particular feeling that you get when your intuition is communicating with you. For instance, some people have the sensation that their hair is standing on end. Others feel a creeping sensation on their scalp. Some simply KNOW something is up while others get goose bumps and chills. Do you ever get feelings about things when something good is going to happen, or does your intuition only engage as a warning system? 2. Pick several things during the week to focus your attention on and purposely try to get an intuitive flash. For example, if there's a job you want to try for, what do your feelings tell you about the chances of you getting it. Ignore your conscious thoughts and focus on your feelings during this process. Another example might be any feelings you have toward a relationship you're currently having. Try to guess if there will be a parking place available at the store on your way there. Use your imagination. Or even take a shot at picking one or two of the winning numbers from a local lottery.
