paper copy of the picture up and, thinking he was going to give it to me, I reached for it. But he took my hand, hauled me forward, and stuck the scrolled up picture in my left ear. "Now, be a good girl, and don't say I never did anything for you." I started to ask just one of the million questions that filled my mind, but he clapped his hands and sent me hurtling back to normal consciousness. I did write the journey down and, nearly a year and a half later, blew up my Inner Landscape. A few weeks after working my way through THAT series of adventures, I was going through my journal and found this record. I realized then that when I had been reworking my Inner Landscape, I had had a map in my head of the way it looked. Today I grin as I write this because I realize that Merlin knew a year and a half before I did, that I was going to need that map he stuck in my ear! And THAT is why it's important to keep records!
