Or if we realize in a journey that we have to change our lifestyle and, at first, we are, of course, all for it. But then the what if bug enters our thinking. We realize in order to change our lifestyle, we'll have to get rid of certain habits and beliefs and even friends. Now how the hell are we supposed to do that and NOT look like a mean, cold hearted, snob? And so it becomes easier to not take that journey, to not get to that particular lesson, and not have to take that action that we suspect we will have to take in order to manifest the healing change required.

The only solution to this is to wait it out. You can try to take other journeys. You can be bold enough to take the journeys anyway and just not apply it to external life until the inner prompting become so strong that you have no choice. Or you can relax into the realization that sometimes, just because you know a thing to do, doesn't mean you have to do it. You can break it down into bite sized pieces of What If that won't choke you. And, of course, you could take a special journey where you address your fears and weaknesses and discover that you really have a lot more options than the What If bug was allowing to consider!
