Fourteen (pause), thirteen (pause), twelve... At the count of one, you will have reached the entrance to the deepest levels of your mind. You go down, deeper and deeper, feeling as light as the mist. It is as if your feet no longer touch the stairs, or as if you, too, are made of mist and light. You feel as if you are floating among clouds, as light as the feather of a bird.
Eight (pause), seven (pause), six, back through time, five (pause), four (pause), three... At the count of one, you will step from the staircase and into a chamber that represents the deepest levels of your mind. Two (pause), one... At last, you reach the bottom. Your feet gently touch the stone floor and the mist begins to swirl away in pale ribbons until at last the air around you is clear. You feel very relaxed, more relaxed than you have felt in a long time. As the mist fades, you see that you are in a large circular chamber. The walls of the chamber may be of cut stone or wood, or you may envision a clearing outdoors surrounded by trees. You may have no visual image, but may simply have a sense of space, or hear soothing sounds, or experience this space with your other senses. However you experience this chamber, know that the experience is valid and is right for you. [**Insert any work you wish here, such as Spirit Guide Meditation, Automatic Writing, etc. For simple meditation, you may pause or play soothing music for 10 minutes, then continue with this script**] Now it is time to return to your waking state. You may bring your sphere of Light with you, allowing it to protect you and filter all energy that passes through you and around you. One -- two -- three, moving up the staircase... At the count of five, you will awake, feeling alert and refreshed. Four, you near the top of the steps... Five, you reach the top step and pass across its threshold, feeling refreshed and alert. Practice! I'll continue with instructions for Automatic Writing in the next article. In the meantime, practice the mediation and enjoy the sensation of being perfectly relaxed.
