Here, I will present three web-based computer skills learning web sites. I guarantee that you will find something here which will address your learning style as well as your learning needs.

ZDU is an online community that offers over 150 computing courses. ZDU Students pay an online fee of $7.95 per month and they may have to purchase books and/or software seperately through the ZDU Campus Store.

Many ZDU classes require that you have your own web site, or some other technical requirements. To meet those needs, SiteAmerica has developed a Web hosting package specifically for ZDU members. Features of this package include 20 MB of server space, private CGI-bin, FrontPage scripts, Telnet access, and private FTP. ZDU provides instructor-led classes as well as self-study programs. Check out ZDU at http://www.zdu.com

The next two online education providers do not require that you purchase additional course materials or that you have your own web site to start developing your computer skills online. All you need is web access. The courses are highly interactive by means of a free downloadable browser plug-in.

Check out Hand Technologies Learning Center's Learn@Hand product. It is an Internet-based training solution offered by The Learning Center. Learn@Hand courses are available in any location where you have Internet access. They have a few different packages which can be purchased.
