Male Models
It seems that a lot of soaps are choosing male models to cast as actors. All My Children have done it twice that I know of with the hiring of Ryanand Scott. (And Scott is still with us!) Now "Passions" has hired Supermodel Jason Olive who debuts on Monday, August 9 as Detective Frank Lomax, a private investigator hired by the Crane's to help find Ethan's stalker.
Remember Lila from Another World? I found some interesting info on what she is up to now. How about a business called "Pendants Masterpieces" It is the creation of Lisa Peluso, Jessica Collins and Rebeca Arthur and it came about when they found that they all had a really difficult time finding jewelry for their weddings. They began designing their own and began marketing it in bridal salons in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, but it was so popular that they began filling orders for boutiques in New York. If you were watching carefully, you might have even seen a piece or two. It has been featured on the daytime drama "Another World" where Lisa Peluso starred as Lila Roberts.
Here is a little on Lisa's background. She apparently started her acting career as a baby and has appeared in the feature films Saturday Night Fever and New York City Nights. S he appeared on Broadway in Gypsy with Angela Lansbury and Off-Broadway in Sweet Sound of the Trumpets, The King and I, No Tomorrows, Terry Neal's Future and Evil Little Thoughts. You might remember her from the daytime dramas Search For Tomorrow, As the World Turns, Somerset, Love of Life, One Life to Live and Loving. Presently, Lisa is appearing in As the World Turns.
