Corona, California (known as part of the Inland Empire) is one of the fastest growing communities in California. There is always something new going on, so stop by today to see what is happening: Corona
I remember when we first moved to Corona, back in August of 1996. The town had a growth spurt and new housing developments were going up everywhere. However, there were still tons of open fields, which made it feel like a small town atmoshphere. Today, five years later, things are still booming. Why? Because the city managers and leaders believe in taking care of the community. Corona may be a fast growing city, and developing along with the times, but there is still a certain charm that you cannot find in many of the Inland Empire Cities. Perhaps it is because of Corona's Sister City, Norco; which is working hard to preserve the old way of life. Or perhaps, it is because the town believes in supporting each other's businesses. Or just perhaps, it is the educational system; which strives to give children the best education they can, regardless of the overcrowded California school systems. Or more likely, it is because of it's location! After all, Corona is centralized amongst many wonderful things to do. Whatever the reason, Corona is a charm to visit. Corona is located two hours from San Diego and the beaches, California, and six hours from Las Vegas, Nevada. Two hours in the opposite direction and you can end up in LA, go an hour and a half in another direction and you can visit Big Bear and the San Bernardino Mountains. The best neighbor, however, is the sister city of Norco. Where one can see traditional rodeos, mini-farms, and an old west atmosphere! Just drive down Norco at the right time, and you may see someone riding their horse to the local market. Norco Chamber of Commerce Want to find out what it's like to be a part of a large and fast growing church? Wonder what kinds of Christmas programs or holiday events are happening? Stop by Crossroads Christian Church, which is located off Kellogg Street. 909-737-4664 Looking for a fun place to stay? Check out The Guesthouse Inn in Norco. While you are there, look up Huney's Restaurant, in the local phone book. I couldn't find a web address, but they offer the BEST HOME COOKED MEALS IN TOWN! They are always running a special, such as a beverage, chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, veggies, and a dessert for a very low price! Go To Page: 1 2
