Care to take a break from city life and feel what it's like to be back in the west?
On February 9-11, at the Fairplex, Pomona, California, there will be a national equine exposition and equestrian gathering. The cost for a one day pass is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Care to get a three day pass? It's only $25 for adults and $17 for children. And kids six and under are FREE. Don't know much about horses? Not sure if it would be your cup of tea? You will never know until you try. Every once in a while, it's nice to get out there and try something new, just to say that you did. There will be training clinics in regards to equestrian sports, as well as seminars and demonstrations and commercial exhibits. There is a seminar on Sports Psychology, Tai Chi for the equestrian, sound business management practices, help in preventing stifle joints in horses, jump course design, how bits work, saddle fitting, shodding horses, how to ride in the wilderness, sports massage, chiropractic and acupuncture, herbal remedies, and so much more. There will also be the largest tradeshow for equestrian apparel; such as, trailers, clothing, publications, clubs, breeders, fencing, gift items, and jewelry.
