Traveling with baby birds

Jan 7, 2000 - © Mary Wilson

Another important item to carry with you when you travel, especially with baby birds, is a cellular phone or other communications device. Here in the Midwest, I would hate to be caught in the winter with car problems, baby birds, and no way to call for help. Although we would like to think our passing motorists would see the "Call Help" sign that we all should have in our cars, you just don't know who will stop or who they will call.

Traveling with baby birds can be a delightful experience, if some forethought is given to supplies and the trip.
