The examples from my family only scratch the surface of the multitude of skin disorders afflicting people today. Whether you suffer from a mild sunburn or a serious melanoma, knowing every aspect of prevention and cure is vital for good health. My objective as a contributing editor for Suite 101 entails filtering through the enormous amount of data available online about skin disorders and presenting the most instructive information to my readers. This includes also sighting unconventional treatments, like emu oil, that may not have been mentioned by a dermatoligist. I will strive to present my findings as clearly and concisely as possible in order that my readers will be well equipped to treat their dermatological problems.
