This week Drew Carey's second show of the season finally explained how he got into the mental hospital and how Mimi was the master mind of it all. Steve, Drew's brother was not happy with his wife and is not speaking to her. Niki, Drew's former fiance, who after breaking it off with Drew married someone else. She is divorced and free again and spills her heart out to Drew, telling him she never got over him. They elope. Of course Kate now wants Drew back and asks him to marry her at the end of the show and he says yes. Will Drew become a bigamist? What will happen when Niki and Kate find out? Oswald and Lewis are no help as usual and just sit idly by knowing Kate is going to ask Drew to marry her and also knowing he is already married to Niki.
Drew Carey looked like he lost some weight and looked very healthy and in tip top shape after his recent surgery. I wish him a long and prosperous career. The last episode of Friends left one of the girls pregnant. While everyone thinks it is Monica, we find out it is Rachel. Not wanting to upstage Monica's wedding she tries to hide it. Phoebe accidently finds out it is Rachel who is pregnant. She will not reveal the Father of the baby. The entire wedding was exactly what you would expect of this TV sitcom hit. Phoebe tries to cover for Rachel but of course ends up messing it all up. Phoebe says the actor James Brolin is the Father. Monica picks up the signals Rachel sends out and figures out it is her. Is the father Rachel's boy toy from her office or is it her long time on again off again boyfriend Ross? Of course the viewing audience will not find out to soon. None of the actors have said yes or no to another season so will this be the last season for "Friends?" I hope not. TV Guide says stop while you're ahead. Just like the Golden Girls, Cheers, and many other sitcoms quit while you are on top. TV Guide says the show has a talented cast but the silliness is too old for the show. I am 34 and even my life long friends with kids of their own will get away from it all and be silly once in a while. I tend to disagree with this comment TV Guide made. No we can't be 20 again but we can sure as hell remember what we did then and have sleep overs once in a while even though we are in our thirties. We can also have FUN because a life with no fun isn't much of a life now is it? Go To Page: 1 2
