Online Dating Part 1

Recently I decided to start dating again. I had visions of my friends setting me up on blind dates with a little tension and poor conversation being the only pitfalls. I didn't realize I have so many single friends if they knew a guy they would be dating him. So with my one free night a week I set out to meet more people. I then came to the conclusion that one night a week was is not enough time to meet someone. It seemed logical that since I am home every night online dating could be an easy way to meet people. I signed up for three dating sites and will review each site separately.

The first site out of three I am reviewing is Lava life; it has a huge membership base so I thought it would be great place to start. The site itself is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. It takes a while to create a membership so give your self-lots of time. Out of the three sites I tried this was my least favorite only because of the lack of other single parents online. It seemed most of the men I talked to were childless and had no desire to settle down in the near future. This may be ok for some people but I would prefer to meet men who have an idea of what being a single parent is like. I compiled a list of what Lava life has to offer if you feel like checking it out. www.lavalife.com

· Membership is free to and includes a profile where you can reveal as much or as little as you like.
