Making Ends Meet

Consider also, that this may just be the final chance you have to resolve any outstanding issues that took on the distorted urgency of your own childhood. Think of it as a chance to really get to know your mother, woman to woman.

Of course, this living arrangement isn't for everyone--some mother-daughter relationships can never be healed. Sometimes parents are unwilling to see their adult children as anything but children. In those cases, I wouldn't recommend shared accommodation with your aging parent or parents.

If multi-generation living isn't for you, then you need to investigate ways to really stretch your dollar, ways to live frugally. I am recommending a brand new website which, though targeted at retirees has some really great suggestions that anyone can use to help make ends meet.

Check it out, and then pass it on to a friend!

(P.S. If finding free medication is a need that you have, be sure to go to the "Recommended Reading" section. I've written an article there that has a wealth of information of programs that can provide medication for free if you have a low income. The information contained there is not only applicable to retirees--it is for everyone. Content will be updated regularly, so if you have a need for information on living frugally, you will want to become a member. It's free--which is always a good thing!)
