Are your feet rough and tired from the cold and dryness of the winter? If yes try these feet tips to keep them full of moisture and looking great all year long.

Feet Tips

Soak your feet in a footbath once a week for 15-20 minutes. The water should be lukewarm and you may sprinkle ½ cup of sea salt or epsom salt in the water to soften the feet. Soaking the feet is a requirement before you do anything else to your feet.

Clean and cut your toenails. Use a nailbrush to clean under those nails. Each member should have his or her own nailbrush for hygienic reasons.

Remove dead cells on your feet by exfoliating with a pumice stone or a loofah (Soak the pumice or loofah for 10 minutes to soften them). Be gentle and work in a circular motion. Clean the foot often to remove the dead cells.

Use a foot scrub about once a month. Mix ¼ cup of ground oatmeal with 1/ 4 cup of cornmeal and 1 tablespoon of salt. Add enough water to make a paste. Massage the mixture into the feet and let dry for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Massage a foot cream into your feet. Massage every inch of your foot. It is great if a friend is able to do this for you.

Buy good shoes. Spend the extra money and get shoes with good arches and that allow your feet to breathe. You will be amazed at how great your feet feel after 10 hours of working on your feet with a good pair of shoes.

Take those shoes off and walk around barefoot. Allow your feet to breath in the evening in your home.

Be kind to your feet and they will be kind to you.
