The Ogre Called Ouch and the Three Girls - Part II« Now give me my guitar. It hangs over there on the wall. » The girl gave it to him and the ogre started to play : « I'm playing my guitar now
And the guitar answered : « Your tender meat is no more ! » « This girl is for me because she has eaten human meat! » said Ouch to himself, « She will be my wife, she will cook for me all day, while I go hunting. » « Listen, girl, » he said to her, « can you sing ? » « Yes, I can. » answered the scared maid. « Sing me a sweet lullaby while I sleep. Wake me up tomorrow at dawn because I'll go hunting. » The girl started singing. The ogre fell asleep very soon. The maid bent over him and lookd at his terrifying eyebrows and giant mouth, and his razor-like teeth. « Oh, what is this old rusty key that hangs from his neck for ? Which door does it open ? Probably he has locked up my sisters with it ! » said the maid to herself and quietly undid the knot of the string on which hang the key. She stood up and before going out, took the small blind kitten, put it near the ogre's head and told him : « Stay here and purr ! The ogre will hear you in his sleep and will think that I'm singing. » The kitten found a cosy place to sit and purred near the ogre's ear. The maid descended a stone staircase and found herself in the basement. There she saw many doors. She put the key in the forst lock and turned it. The door screeched and the maid opened it. She saw a room full of knifes, arcs, axes, spears, and all kinds of other weapons. She opened the second door and saw that is was full of gold and silver coins. In the third room, she saw thousands of precious stones, rubies and diamonds and in the fourth one she found piles of human bones. Very scared, the maid opened the fifth door and saw two rows of tables on which craftsmen were working day and night. « Who are you ? » asked the girl. « We are the gre Ouch's slaves. » they told her, « When we stop working, the ogre comes and takes the jewellery
