This week, I visited a site purely filled with Java shareware. As anyone computer or internet-literate knows by now, Java is a great new programming language that makes it easier to have a really cool web page on the Internet. It allows programs to run within web pages, and may or may not revolutionize the future of computing, depending on who you ask.
However, JavaShareware.com is not concerned with such petty things. It's focused only on bringing you neat shareware programs to try out, written in the Java language.
Through a nifty-looking sidebar with cool buttons, viewers can choose to look at applications, applets, JavaBeans, servelets, JavaScripts, and even development tools. Once the viewer chooses a category to look at, the available shareware is organized into clickable categories so that the viewer can easily look for what he or she wants. (For the gamers out there, you can find java games in the applications category.)
If that's not easy enough to use, the index page includes a search engine that will look for keywords and return programs including those words. It also has direct links on the index page to download cool, recently added resources.
