Shareware for the Hobbyist (Part 1)

Almost everyone has a hobby. Some like to surf, some like to play a musical instrument, and some like to download. Whether your hobby is collecting, following Internet auctions, or something else altogether, there's probably a shareware program to help you do it.

Advertisement Wizard 3.0 is for those of us who just can't get enough of eBay. If you're a person who likes to sell online, and places multiple ads at once, the $14.95 registration fee for Advertisment Wizard might be a good investment. This useful little program creates the HTML for your online auction ads to look just how you like it.

If you follow the weather and like to know exactly when it's raining in Seattle, you might want to look into AlertMe. Even CNET's Download.Com gave it an endorsement saying that AlertMe is about as real-time as you can expect to get the weather. It informs you instantly of any weather advisories or updates for the areas you tell it to monitor, and registration after thirty days costs $20.

Did you get a hold of that Shakespearean insults cheat-sheet in high school or college and have a total blast calling all of your friends every possible medieval name you could think of? If so, try downloading AutoInsult. This nifty $14 program creates not only Shakespearean insults, but Arabic, Mediterranean, and Modern ones as well.
