Style Master is available from Western Civilisation for free download and a $29 registration fee. The point of the product is to make creation of your CSS easier. If you're not familiar with CSS [Cascading Style Sheets], consult an HTML 4.0 reference guide for more information. They're an easy way to achieve uniformity within web pages, and can either go in your HEAD tag or your server with a reference in the head tag.
Opening Style Master, one notices again that it has a pretty uniform setup. The icons along the top are the same as in the popular MS Office products, and it's pretty self-explanatory to see what each does, if you're familiar with HTML coding.
The next really nifty thing is that Style Master actually asks you what browser you want to target. I've used other stylesheet editors before, and Style Master is the first one I've seen which asks this right at the top. You can choose to optimize for Netscape, Internet Explorer, or both.
To create CSS statements, you have to select "new statement" in the Statement menu. This can be a little annoying, as it doesn't take very long to complete a statement. However, the menu that comes later after choosing to create a new HTML element is pretty good for a person such as myself who is still learning all the capabilities of CSS. The menu includes explanation text of each element.
Style Master also has the capabilities to preview the settings you choose for a specific element, either in a browser or a small window above the text.
