DX Ball 2 -- An Update to the Original

Ever played break-out? If you haven't, you should try it immediately! Few games are more relaxing and fun. The point is to use your keyboard or mouse to move around a small paddle at the bottom of the screen to bounce the ball in angles so that it will knock out the bricks. It may not sound like much, but you'll definitely think elsewise after you play it.

A few years back, someone decided to take the simple game of breakout to a new level. DX Ball was the result. Loaded with neat advancements, including the ability to shoot out the bricks if you catch the right symbol, DX Ball quickly developed a following. Basically, it is the same thing as bricks, but with more color, more special bonus bricks, and even some neat music. Best, it's free.

DX Ball 2 took DX Ball one step further. It added some even cooler music, new symbols, and some more artistic-looking screens. You can choose at the beginning what art theme you want to follow, then you get a series of 6 to 10 different levels that follow. If you've played DX Ball and liked it, DX Ball 2 is a must. Rating: 5 of 5 stars.

Technically, DX Ball 2 is freeware, the same as DX Ball. However, it might as well be Shareware. It only comes with 24 levels, and you have to pay in order to get additional ones.

Download DX Ball 2 and its extra levels are available from Long Bow Digital Arts.
