Other antibacterial herbs are: Elecampane (especially useful with respiratory illness is involved), Licorice, Marjoram, St. John's wort*, and Yarrow.

*St. John's wort is best known for its antidepressant qualities. It is also one of the strongest anitmicrobials in the plant kingdom.

Other anti- viral herbs are: Cayenne, Cloves, Horseradish, Mullein, Myrrh, Red Clover, Rosemary, Thyme, and Wild Thyme.
