Prayers For Twin Towers and All of Us

On Tuesday September 11th 2001 the world witnessed a tragedy. I sat before my TV and Radio and saw and heard things that terrified me. Unfortunately as shocking as the suicide airplanes were and are to all of us in North America, incidents like this have been happening around our world for a long time.

I am still in shock today, Wednesday, and like many others around the world feel lost about what to do and how I could possibly help. How to help the people in New York and Washington, and the people around the globe that have had such things a part of their lives always. Many people in the United States and Canada are donating blood. Many are attending vigils and services offering prayers and compassion.

This article is a collection of prayers and energy healings for all of us to read and use at this time of fear and tragedy.

It is very hard right now to not feel hate and anger towards the people responsible for all the deaths yesterday, yet hatred and anger will not help to heal this world and make it a safer place for us and our children. We are all afraid of what the coming days may bring and I believe that our energy is better spent doing our damnedest to Love and Pray. We need to fill our hearts with compassion for all human beings on this planet, especially victims of yesterday's events, and even the people who are misguided and full of fear and confusion.

Please take the time to light a candle, read these prayers, say one of your own, and if so inclined to do some energy healing for the planet. I have also created a discussion for anyone wishing to share his or her prayers, meditations and healings with the rest of us.

Mother, Father, God, Universal Power. Remind us daily of the sanctity of all life.

Touch our hearts with the glorious oneness Of all creation, As we strive to respect all the living beings On this planet.

Penetrate our souls with the beauty of this Earth, As we attune ourselves to the rhythm and flow of the seasons.
