We would like to announce to you all the birth of our baby boy Owen Ellis Hoover, born saturday July 19th 2003 at 8:39 am.
Owen spent the first 6 days of his life in the Special Care Nursery at Lions Gate hospital. He was born 3 weeks early and had trouble balancing his blood sugar in his first days. He also had some other problems with his blood, too much red blood and not enough platelets.
He no longer has any of these troubles, they seemed to have fixed themselves, we're not really sure how,or why. Owen is now at home and Lorne and I are learning all about him. He's doing very well, eating lots and growing like a weed already! And having a good time being a healthy baby.
