  • The Deer-Proofed Garden by Joe Williamson links to his lists of deer proof shrubs, perennials and bulbs. I agree with his lists except for Astilbe, which my local herd think is quite a treat.

  • Interested in creating a prairie landscape? This page on Lick Creek Park, a Blackland Prairie habitat type, will show you what one looks like as well as some of the plants that inhabit this type of environment.

  • Time to plan is an editorial with some nuggets of information on the territorial needs of wildlife.
