A net pal has sent me seeds of Cypress Vine (Ipomoea quamoclit) and Cardinal Climber (Ipomoea coccinea or Ipomoea x multifida, the names seem a tad confused). Both are tender perennials treated as annuals, self seeding (some say invasively so), but the hummingbirds love them and I can't wait to plant them next spring. Someone on one of the gardening lists suggested growing them up through Sweet Autumn Clematis; sounds like a great idea!
If your garden has no vines, it's time for you to start your own list and rectify that omission. See ya' later! More Information I hope you've gotten intrigued by the wonderful world of ivies. If you have and wonder where you might find some for your garden, here are nurseries - online and off - who list ivy in the US, Canada, the UK and the Netherlands...enjoy!
