Mailorder Nurseries Online and Off, Part 4 -Naylor Creek Nursery
Pulmonaria No shady garden should be without some of these plants. I have rafts of 'Mrs. Moon', an old variety that is subject to a spot of mildew when allowed to get too dry, but I wouldn't be without her. There are so many more out there, some who aren't as subject to this affliction as the P. saccharata cultivars. Naylor Creek has a huge list encompassing many species and cultivars. There are many I marked to share with you, but I'm running out of time and space, so here are a couple I really want.
Tiarella So many plants - so little time! Well, I'll leave you with only a couple of the many cultivars of this grand woodland plant that appeal to me. This genus has a wide range, being rated hardy from USDA zones 3 to 9. They're undemanding woodland plants that thrive in moist, humusy soil and shade. If you don't grow some - get some!
Tiarella 'Dark Eyes' has leaves blotched in black, but it's the flowers that captivated me in this photo...totally unlike mine and seeming rather like spun sugar.
