You would not believe the things people say and do!

When Tagert my husband and friends and I go out we get a bunch of different reactions. Some of them are good and some bad. I don't think I have ever gone out with out at least one person saying something or staring. These are a collection of comments and reactions I have heard or seen over the two years with Tagert. Lets start with the kids.

# 1 Most kids just point and say " Look there is a dog in the store."One time I had to go back down an isle and defend a child because his mother was yelling at him for Lying to her. # 2. A little girl in a shopping cart saying " dog, dog ,dog, dog. Mom is not saying a word to stop her and everyone in the store is now looking at me. #3. A lot of kids jump or run like Tagert is going to bite. # 4 Kids of today have not been taught to ask first before petting or to hold their hand down before petting a strange dog.

#5 Child said " Look dad a dog, A real one'.

As for the adults we run in to, they have no common sense or manners.They are like the kids. They don't ask first before petting or talking to Tagert.

# 1 I had a store manager tell me "The hound dog has to leave". He did not even ask me first why I had a dog with me. # 2. I had another store manager come running across the store in a loud voice. yelling " Excuse me is that a seeing eye dog". Mind you I was reading a jar that I had in my hand.

#3. Another manager-said "Oh I am sorry I can not pet I did not know he was working." Now mind you he did not stop me from coming in. #4. I had a mall throw me out twice with out even listening to me, as to why I needed the dog. #5. One lady came up to me and said "What's That". I told her it was a cat and kept on walking. #6. I had an employee jump out of my way and scream "There is a dog in the store" and than run the other way. The particular store I was in had a sign service dogs welcome on the front door.
