This is probably one of the most thought-provoking inspirational books I have ever encountered. I was a bit skeptical when plowing through the first pages, because I didn't believe that we could actually talk to God. Talking to God has always been a metaphor to me, but not after I have finished reading Giovanni's masterpiece. This book literally gave me goosebumps and a relief feeling knowing that there is always Somebody whom I can turn to at anytime. As I read through chapter by chapter, I was astonished by the logical reasoning and arguments presented that we can all talk to God through the written words and meditation. The author also included examples of how people literally talk to God, including the author's children and some personal friends. Some transcripts of successful talks with God can be found in Chapter 5: A Few Real Life Examples. The author further explains how to cultivate our inherent skill to connect directly with God and use it readily into practice. In between the chapters, Giovanni beautifully inserted illuminating quotations by famous people and, who else, God. All thumbs up for the courage to swim against the flow, I must praise the author. In today's society where people don't believe in talking directly to God anymore and the feeling of alienation is as common as the common cold, Giovanni has contributed a great workable solution. I won't be surprised to find this masterpiece becomes a best-selling book someday. [] Go To Page: 1
