X Men vs Street Fighter...Saturn is still best© Ryan Newman After renting X Men vs Street Fighter for the Playstation it's obvious that the Saturn, even dead, still bests the PSX in a current game. Although the only way you can get the Saturn version is by doing a cart swap or modifying your Saturn, it's well worth it. There is no slowdown due to the extra RAM and little load times while the psx version should have a warning label on the box to prepare you for all the time you'll waste sitting on your ass waiting for the game to load. Then there are the controls. The Saturn controller is bigger, has more reachable buttons and more customed to fighting, making the combos come off like a breeze. But the PSX controller is smalled and cramped, and it's very difficult to operate the top four shoulder buttons for some time. So the Saturn wins yet again in this department. The most important factor is the player swap. In the PSX version the RAM is so limited that the only way you can get your second character out is to do a special move, then they go away. This is an important feature in the arcade so when this is taken out of the PSX version you're really missing out. But yep, yep, the Saturn version keeps it, making it arcade-true. So all you Capcom fans, go out modify your Saturn, pick up this import at http://www.buyrite1.com/ and enjoy!!! Go To Page: 1
