So, you have some holiday money? A bargin guide for games

Welcome back from Christmas, or whichever you celebrate, and get ready for some more Sega goodness. If you happened to get in some cash, then you should be prepared to spend it as Dreamcast goodies are going at all-time low prices. Check out these deals:

Circuit City

Yes, Circuit City has a ton of fantastic titles for almost nothing! Never got around to getting Sonic Adventure? Why not pick it up for $6.99. Or do you have some $20s burning a hole in your pocket? Pick up two of these fantastic $9.95 deals: Sega Smash Pack Vol. 1, Sega Bass Fishing, Sega Marine Fishing, Virtua Tennis (an absolute MUST own), Soul Reaver, Crazy Taxi (not a personal favorite, but eh), NFL 2K, Record of the Lodoss War, or Jet Grind Radio. For $19.95 you can pick up Alien Front Online or Seamen - both titles come with microphones and are nice to have, by not only being fun, but good to have the mic as it will become a rarity some day.

EB Games

The only real deal here is the Samba De Amigo Maracas. EB is notorious for overpricing their games from $5-10 over the MSRP, but the Maracas have now been lowered from the regular $89.99 to a mere $49.99 - and that is for the original first-party (Sega made) brand! These puppies can fetch up to $125 on eBay, so if you can find one at your EB, scoop it up!

For exceptional deals on VMUs (Memory Cards) check out Best Buy and Circuit City, both are sporting the lovely $9.95 price tags for them and those babies are a necessity. They also offer great prices on first-party controllers, if they have them. Some EB stores will have Fishing Rods new for $15, and those are well worth it as well. If you can find a gun, please inform me, I bought a rather cheap Performance Blaster for $12 from EB and it is garbage, I have also had a hard time finding the MadCatz gun, so whoever knows of a good place let me know so I can pass it along on here. I hope to make a complete Dreamcast buyers guide some day, but for now, check out bigger electronic stores - that is where the real goodies are! Also, avoid Funcoland, I have had even more reports of faulty products being sold, repackaged and sold again, and denial of refunds. My personal dealings with them have been VERY poor so I advise all of you to stay clear from them!
