A brief break from the norm

© Ryan Newman

Greetings all. This article I will have to break from the norm and talk about the recent events in New York. I will avoid the details since the media has been running coverage nonstop (some of which really doesn't need to be shown so much as it is not only traumatic, but morbid as to what they show and how many times they show it). But enough about the media, this is about all of you out there.

By counters shown, quite a few people out there read this little article and I would like to thank you greatly. I would also like to express my heartfelt sympathy for all of those affected by this tragedy either directly or indirectly. Either way, all of the world felt what has happened. I would like to send out a wish and a prayer that all of you, your friends, and loved ones are safe and have made it through this ordeal unscathed.

Word can not express the pain the world has felt recently and I will not mention the, now repeated, comments about it being on our soil and will instead focus on how much I, and Suite101 as a whole I am sure, would like to wish all of you out there glad tidings and our deepest condolences. My prayers go out with you and I wish you all many blessings and that we can all overcome in this time of pain.

While gaming seems trivial in light of such events, sit down with some friends and family. Be it with a movie, a game, or just to sit and talk, and enjoy your time with them. Treasure the moments with your loved ones and be at peace. This is a time of unity and love, and I wish you all the very best.

Sincerely,
-Ryan Newman

P.S. Next week I will resume regular articles. If you have any ideas just send me an e-mail and I will be happy to read it over. I look forward to discussing Sega's decision to bring Phantasy Star Online to the PC among its newest releases. I hope you are all safe during these troubled times and that you might find some joy in my articles. Enjoy life and remember, I and Sega love you!
