Closing of Pages

Now, I am sure many Saturn owners and followers have noticed the disturbing trend lately of Saturn page after Saturn page either disappear (happened a while back with saturnfan.com) or just stop updating (daves sega saturn page: sega-saturn.com, and Saturn world). and as we all know this is because the Saturn is pretty much dead here. Sega has two kick-ass games, House of the Dead and Panzer Saga, and will only release a few thousand copies. Now that's just pathetic. This is showing that Sega themselves have no faith in the system. Now Sega has a pathetic history, they killed off the Genesis, Sega CD, 32x, Game Gear, and now Saturn. I mean, hell, people pay their hard-earned money just so Sega can support the system for a year then let it go to hell. That's not wise at all.

Sega is screwing the consumer over YET AGAIN, for no reason! Who cares if they are getting ready for Katana/Dural/or whatever the hell the are calling it? They can still support the system that they so proudly bragged about on a short year back. Now they are throwing it away, acting like no one has heard of it. Just because it isnt popular with the masses doesn't mean it does not have a following. People will still support the system. Hell, Saturn owners are starving for games and what does Sega do? Have two potential blockbusters and merely release a few to a starving pack. Why? Because poor little Sega doesn't want to lose money. Well, boo hoo, have you forgotten about all the people who have paid anywhere from $150-$330 for your abondoned machine?! Of course you have! Now Sega needs to get off their ass and make things happen! They are lucky Nintendo is being dense now and PSX is holding steady. They better act and act fast.

Isn't it a tad extreme to say Sega's screwing over their consumer base? If the consumer base hadn't been so tiny in the first place (third party companies weren't even breaking even in ...
