Sega CDX, a GameSpy hosted site devoted to CD based systems from Sega (Sega CD and Saturn) has formed SEGAFans. This is a new network devoted to housing Sega devoted sites (namely, Genesis, Sega CD, and Saturn pages). Their first new affiliate and hosted site is The Sega Saturn Magazine.
The Sega Saturn Magazine updates once a month and features articles in older magazines accompanied with scans of the pages and the full article re-written out for easier consumption. Game's databases are also made which features reviews from magazines (with scans of the pages), staff reviews, and soon reader reviews. Each game page has links to cheats, downloads, and a ton of screenshots that are unique to the page. Now there won't have to be searching
Google.com anymore for information on your favorite Saturn games. The first issue features Dragon Force with 40+ screenshots featuring Ads, ram sticker scans, cd cover scans, and a ton of in-game shots. The games pages will also be updated after they are created so that months after the first issue, Dragon Force's section will still be updated. This project is to archive as much Saturn goodness as possible.
SEGAFans is a new operation and for those who wish to join, contact Sega CDX's creator and operator Chakan for more information. I encourage all of those with a Sega site to join up and help to make a network that will be stronger than any before it, and since it is backed by GameSpy, the chances are great.
