Daytona DC 2001 Released

Today is the lucky day gamers. One of many high-quality Dreamcast titles to come down the pipe this year has finally come out. That's right racing fans, get ready, Daytona 2001 is here! With an MSRP at $39.99, Daytona is sure to please any hardened Sega gamers and even those of you who are new to the fold and never got to try the classic Saturn version. There is something that should make this version definitely worth owning, not the revamped graphics or silky smooth gameplay, but the online mode. Now gamers can either compete with up to 4 others via a split screen on the same screen or up to 8 people over Sega's network.

Saturn fans have been clamoring for Sega to release some of the 32-Bit classics on the Dreamcast and now their dreams have come true. I had the chance to play the import version and I have to say, it is absolutely fantastic! On a bit of a down note, European gamers will have to wait a bit longer and will not be able to play on-line. It seems, as though now would be a good time to learn some sort of trick or buy a US Dreamcast and import. Get ready gamers, it has shipped today and should be in your local EBs very soon! This is a definite must own!
