Neo Geo Pocket and Dreamcast

Recently a nice little import has become available by the name of Neo Geo Pocket. This is the newest color hand-held gaming system from, of course, Neo Geo. With the Game Gear long gone from any sort of public eye, it was time for someone to introduce a portable color gaming system. With the color Gameboy already out, only time will tell how it will compete with the NG Pocket, but as far as it goes now the NG Pocket is import only but will be available here in the states soon.

It will run about $70 and the games about $35, and as it stands now you will not be able to find it in stores you must order it from Neo Geo directly, the import versions are available through places such as NCS.

Now, why did I mention the Neo Geo Pocket and Dreamcast? Well, the NG Pocket will hook up to the DC on a side port and the most exciting feature is that, if you buy a game thats both on DC and NG Pocket, you can take the NG Pocket on the road and load the DC versions on the NG Pocket and continue the game on your trip and when you return plug it back into the DC and load up your progress. This is unparallel in anything I have ever seen or played and is a most exciting feature - not only the DC but it is said the NG Pocket hooks up to tother systems as well do to the same feature. So keep an eye out for the NG Pocket and when it comes out, snatch it up cause at $70 for all that protable SNK goodness its one hell of a bargin
