Tekken Displayed on Dreamcast?

Recently a showing of the Playstation2 hardware was released to the Internet leaving many people with their jaws hitting the floor. Now keep in mind those were just development movies, anyone can make it look good, only thing to show if it was the real thing is if it was actually running off the psx2 and not a development kit. As Sega said, the psx2 looks great on paper, but making such a system is a whole other matter.

So as of late, Namco was showing off more of its fancy shmancy Tekken franchise and people were in awww, yet again of this silly fighter (not even a fighter really, just a button masher where there is no skill involved only guesswork, but thats a whole other issue) but many were under the impression that it was running under the Playstation 2. Well, word is surfacing is that, that was the Dreamcast version of Tekken. Now this may or may not be correct, I am merely going on word of mouth about this, besides its been slow for news so if this isn't true it added some spark to a dull time for news hehe.

So, if this does turn out to be true...unlike some news stories of late *cough*Avatar*cough* then it really showcases the Dremcasts' power and potential. Not only hardware wise but the potential for various 3rd-party members to jump along the DC Bandwagon. The only person not enjoying this is Vic Ireland of Working Designs, they made key Saturn games (Dragon Force being the main one, Iron Storm, etc...) that I enjoy, well he continually has bad mouthed the DC so if anyone spots him on a newsgroup or anywhere else saying how the Dreamcast will fail or anything negative, dont pay him any mind. So many people are trying to make the Dreamcast fail before it even gets here, just sit back, relax and enjoy it when it hits our shores. See yall later.
