Now there have been many arguments about which fighting game is better is it Tekken 1, Tekken 2, Soul Blade, Tobal, Bushido Blade (ALL PS-X Games), or is it Fighting Vipers, Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic Fighters, or Fighters Megamix (ALL Saturn games). But throughout the past couple of years the answer has simply been Virtua Fighter 2. Now a couple of years later this fantastic game has aged and now there is....
Fighters Megamix this games is THE fighting game! It consists of characters from the Virtua Fighter series and Fightign Vipers. And it contains moves from Virtua Fighter 3. Along with characters from Sonic Fighters, Virtua Cop 2, and Daytona USA . Yes there is a fighting car from Daytona! But there is a downfall instead of high-res they went with gorourd shading to give it a more realistic affect, but to me it just makes the game look worse. But this is easily forgiven with the amount of depth, characters, and time put into this game.
It is also an excellent trainer for VF 3, so when it comes to your town you will be prepared! With the ability to turn on which setting you prefer whether it be Virtua Fighters' open arena or Fighting Vipers enclosed. And the VF characters have been modified to where their moves are strong enough to shatter the armore off of the Fighting Viper characters. Not to mention the 'block' button feature found in VF 3. Also, yes there is more, the US version has been 'modified' to be more balanced and funner than the Japanesse version. That is why it has taken so long to come out here.
So whether you want to practice up for VF 3, play a fantastic fighter, or actually get what you are paying for in a game there is no doubt in my mind that this is the game for you! Also if missed out on buying Fighting Vipers or VF 2 fret no more since this game contains the best of both worlds and more! A MUST BUY!
