Results: Each result includes a thumbnail image, size in kilobytes, and links to Details and Source.

The Details link displays the url of the original website, a thumbnail image, size of the image (in bytes), width and height of the image (in pixels) and a list of related keywords.

The Source link displays the image (in the size in which it appears on the web page) in one window and the web page containing the image (or a link to the image) in another.

Directory: Ditto.com includes a nicely-done subject directory of images, divided into 16 categories and numerous subcategories. (Get there by selecting one of the subject categories on the right side of the homepage.) For example, the category Architecture is divided into 10 subcategories, including Construction, Periods, Rural, Skyscrapers, Housing, etc. Information displayed for each image is the same as that for search results.

Ditto Detective: If Ditto.com's search engine is unsuccessful in locating an image relating to the search words you entered, Ditto Detective offers to search the web and attempt to find pictures about your subjectat no fee.

I tried Ditto Detective using the search phrase "yellow sweater". The service was unsuccessful in finding images using this phrase although Alta Vista Image Search found 12 images.
