There are numbers and a carat (>) sign in front of the search box and most of the links, which indicate how many points you get (after you register) if you select that particular link. The more points you have, the greater your chances of winning. (The maximum number of points you can earn on any one day is 100.) Aside from this, there's nothing unusual about iWon. It uses Inktomi's search system (also used by HotBot, Yahoo and others). There's a directory of websites and over 20 special features. All of the features have a clean, easy-to-understand design. The Money feature - CBS MarketWatch is especially well done. Search Tips: You can use the plus and minus signs to require or exclude words and quotation marks to indicate a phrase. There's an Advanced Search mode which lets you limit results by date.
