Mix buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, dressing mix, mustard and dillweed in small bowl. Pour over potato mixture and toss well. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley. Serves 6.
Grilled Corn on the Cob
6-10 ears of corn
6-10 tablespoons butter, softened
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1 Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
2 Peel back corn husks and remove silk. Place 1 tablespoon butter, salt and pepper on each piece of corn. Close husks.
3 Wrap each ear of corn tightly in aluminum foil. Place on the prepared grill. Cook approximately 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until corn is tender.
Grilled Teriyaki Salmon
1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
kosher salt to taste
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
Sprinkle fillets to taste with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt, becareful not to handle fish too much, as it's delicate.
In a small bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, water, and oil. Place fish in a sealable plastic bag; pour sauce mixture over fish. Marinate at least 3 hours.
Preheat charcoal barbecue or gas grill.
Remove fillets from marinade. Grill salmon over medium heat for about 7 minutes on each side
Dinner Rolls Recipe
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
6 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon lard
1 1/2 cups milk
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Rub in the lard and add the milk. Turn out on floured board and knead enough to make a smooth dough. Cut dough into pieces small enough to make rolls about 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. Form each into smooth roll with square ends. Place on greased baking pan far apart and let stand for about 20 minutes. Brush with a little melted butter and let stand for about 10 minutes. Bake in hot oven for about 10 to 15 minutes.
My Grandma's Lemon Bars
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons lemon zest
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch square baking pan.
2 Combine flour, baking soda, spices and salt and set aside. In a large bowl, cream together shortening and brown sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
